The strap is easy to connect and feels simple to use. I think it’ll be useful.
I actually bought this as a backup just in case it broke during heavy use, but now that I have it in hand, I can see I probably did not need to worry. The straps and plastic hardware feel incredibly rugged and solid. I expect to use this component the most alongside my main pack during outdoor trips, and I am really excited to put it to the test. Tough build quality all around.
This is what allows you to secure items properly on the side of the bag. Without it, that setup just doesn’t work. If you already own the bag, I’d recommend picking this up early so you can use it without any inconvenience.
