OUR MATERIALS

SHELL
1000D CORDURA® Nylon
The main shell of the Collection is constructed with CORDURA® 1000D Nylon, a highly durable fabric made with high-tenacity, air-jet-textured nylon 6,6 yarns.
Its excellent resistance to abrasion and tear resistance makes it well suited for areas exposed to repeated friction, heavy loads, and frequent use. We selected 1000D because it provides the ideal balance of durability, structure, and flexibility for everyday carry, travel, and outdoor use.
A double PU coating helps reduce moisture penetration through the fabric and provides an additional protective barrier in changing weather conditions. The fabric is water-resistant, not fully waterproof.

ZIPPER
YKK® DWR COIL ZIPPER
We use YKK® coil zippers with a DWR finish to provide smooth, flexible operation through repeated use.
The coil construction moves naturally along the shape of the bag, allowing consistent opening and closing across straight and curved sections. A DWR treatment applied to the zipper tape helps reduce surface wetting and provides added protection against light rain and everyday moisture.
We selected this zipper for its balance of operating smoothness, flexibility, and water-repellent performance. It is water-resistant, not fully waterproof, and moisture may enter through the zipper chain, seams, or openings during prolonged exposure.

PLASTIC HARDWARE
WOOJIN PLASTIC®
Our collection uses hardware from Woojin Plastic®, a Korean manufacturer specializing in outdoor buckles, webbing adjusters, hooks, and technical plastic components since 1979.
Each component is selected according to its specific role, including load direction, adjustment, accessibility, and frequency of use. From securing compression straps to adjusting the carrying system, the hardware is designed to provide stable engagement and consistent operation throughout everyday carry, travel, and outdoor use.
We chose Woojin Plastic® for the balance of durability, precise operation, and dependable performance required across our carrying system.

WEBBING
WEBB300™
Webb300™ is the high-tensile polyester webbing used throughout the MOLLE attachment system, compression straps, and carrying structure of our Collection.
Its dense double-weave construction balances tensile strength, structural stability, flexibility, and shape recovery. It remains firm enough to support loaded attachment points while retaining the flexibility required for adjustment and repeated handling.
Unlike the coarse, highly matte webbing commonly associated with military equipment, Webb300™ has a smooth surface and subtle sheen. This gives our products a more refined, urban appearance while retaining the structural character of technical equipment.
In its tested specification, Webb300™ achieved a tensile strength of 301 kgf, approximately 664 lbf. This strength helps manage tension across shoulder straps, compression points, MOLLE attachment rows, and connected hardware.
Webb300™ is not simply an external strap. It is a structural material that connects, adjusts, and stabilizes our carrying system.

LINING
210D HIGH-TENACITY NYLON
The interior of our collection is lined with 210D high-tenacity nylon, selected to balance durability, flexibility, and weight.
Its high-strength yarn construction provides resistance to the repeated friction, pulling, and abrasion caused by packed clothing, devices, organizers, and other equipment. The lighter 210D construction also reduces unnecessary interior weight and bulk without compromising the durability required for everyday use.
A single PU coating adds a protective barrier that helps reduce moisture penetration through the lining. It provides practical water resistance against minor spills and damp items but is not fully waterproof.
By combining a durable high-tenacity yarn with a lightweight construction, the lining helps protect the interior while keeping the overall carrying system efficient and adaptable.

LOW-NOISE ZIPPER PULLS
Our low-noise zipper pulls are constructed using a nylon sheath derived from 550 paracord with a reduced-core configuration.
The flexible cord construction reduces the hard contact and rattling commonly produced by rigid zipper pulls as the bag moves. Its braided surface also provides a secure, tactile grip for quick and controlled zipper operation.
Reducing the inner core allows the pull to remain flexible and low in bulk while retaining the durability needed for repeated opening and closing. The result is a quieter and more refined interaction without sacrificing accessibility.

BACK PANEL
420D HIGH-TENACITY NYLON + DURABREATH™ MESH
The back panels across our collection combine 420D high-tenacity nylon with DuraBreath™ Mesh to balance durability, carrying stability, and ventilation.
The 420D high-tenacity nylon forms a durable structural base. Its lighter and more flexible construction reduces unnecessary weight and bulk compared with the 1000D main shell while providing the abrasion resistance and stability required for a frequently loaded area.
DuraBreath™ Mesh forms the body-facing surface. Its durable mesh construction allows air and moisture to move through the contact area while providing a less abrasive surface against clothing. It works with the padded channel structure to help reduce concentrated heat and moisture during extended wear.
Together, the two materials create a composite back-panel system. The 420D nylon supports the structure and manages repeated friction, while DuraBreath™ Mesh improves ventilation and contact comfort.
This combination was selected because a back panel must do more than withstand wear. It must also remain stable under load and comfortable where the pack meets the body.
