Want it to be smaller, but this is necessary for outdoor use because Bamian 17 pack is not full water resistance.
Serves and works its function without any issues when needed. Not much more to say.
Just came back from a 9 day trip to the American Southwest with the Bamian 17 pack. The bag was packed to its fullest and was able to be brought on as carry on both ways. I used the belt and the L pouch as a smaller carry on bag and it was also useful for my notebook and other items throughout the trip.
As for the functionality of the bag, the shoulder straps were extremely comfortable and the bag was always easy to access. I especially liked how I could organize my writing stuff and electronics in the back section and the straps on the bottom were helpful to tie on my coat when it was not needed.
I did not actually need all of the extra pouches that came with it on this trip, but look forward to putting them into service. However, one of the S pouches did work well to protect the zoom lens for my DSLR. It was easy to strap onto the camera bag.
All in all, this is a great bag that I am very much looking forward to using again soon on another trip! Just need to figure out where to go...
I used it when I got on a motorcycle and went hiking. Very useful for large capacity and many pockets. I also liked the fact that capacity could be increased, so that even if there was more luggage at the destination, it could be stored. Although it was a little heavy, there was a firm cushion on the shoulders and waist, so the body did not hurt even when carried around for a long time.
